ADMISSION

ADMISSION

All children are required to have completed enrollment forms on file in the Preschool Office prior to their first day of attendance in school. No child is considered fully enrolled until all forms are completed and all fees are paid in full. These forms include:

1. Child Enrollment Information Form

a. Identification and Emergency Information

b. Child’s Pre-admission Health History

c. Consent For Emergency Medical Treatment

d. Personal Rights

e. Parent’s Rights

2. Medical Information signed by a physician
3. Parent-Program Agreement
4. Food Program

AW forms are updated annually. Parents must provide updated immunization records as required by the California Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

CLASS ASSIGNMENT

The classes will be formed primarily by age. The child’s age September 1st of the current school year will ordinarily determine class placement, but developmental level will also be considered. All the children in the pre-kindergarten class must be eligible to attend kindergarten classes in the following year.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Children are to be escorted to and from their classroom and signed in and out by the parent or responsible adult on a daily basis.   This is necessary for our state licensing record keeping.

Children cannot stay at school or school playground after school operation hour (7:30am – 6pm) and/or after signed out by parents or guardians.

It is very important for children’s safety. You are responsible for any injury or accident after the child has been signed out.

ABSENCES

We want to keep all our children healthy, and need your cooperation to maintain a high health standard. Please call if your child will be absent.

DISCONTINUED ENROLLMENT

Parents may withdraw their child from our preschool by giving written notice of intent to withdraw at least 1 month in advance the child is withdrawn. Charges will cease at the end of the 4weeks.

DREAMLAND PRESCHOOL reserves the right to discontinue the enrollment of any child if:

  1. Parents fail to cooperate reasonably with Dreamland Preschool in the provision of educational services to their child, in the payment of published tuition fees, or in picking up their child promptly;
  2. The child is dangerous to him/herself or others, is destructive of school property, or is so disruptive that the education of other students is significantly impaired; or
  3. The child requires another educational setting more appropriate to his/her needs.
